Murphy’s law says your heating system will break down on the coldest day of the year. There’s wisdom in that because heating systems break when they are under the most stress. When it’s really cold, your heating system is running constantly.
The best way to avoid an unexpected and untimely breakdown is with an annual maintenance. It’s a highly recommended annual service that ensures your heating system is safe and running as efficiently as possible. For newer equipment, manufacturers generally require you to do maintenance to guarantee their parts warranty.
On the maintenance visit, we complete an exhaustive checklist of items to make sure we’ve checked, cleaned, tuned and evaluated your system. We’re looking to optimize so we’ll check the efficiency rating for you. Most importantly, we’ll make sure it’s exhausting properly and check levels of carbon monoxide for anything even remotely of concern. We’ll give you a report and explanation of what we accomplished.
We can also get ahead of any potential issues by providing you with an analysis that details any major or minor issues that you may want to address.
A heating maintenance is a great time to consider upgrades as well such as humidification for a ducted system. Many times our technicians can install them while they are there.
If you are a member of our Partner Service Plan, good news, your heating maintenance is included in your membership. For non members, we offer a reasonable rate to have one of our technicians come out and get you ready for winter.
